With the same approach and by carefully picking natural ingredients Rumaya is expanding their range of products to include Wax powder, Body butter and solid perfumes.
Manisha ji, founder of Rumaya have struggled and disappointed with the false claims brands are doing these days, using lots of chemicals, artificial fragrance, fooling people by claiming to be herbal, organic and natural. If you take example of hair oil only, one we get in market is rich in mineral oil and concentration of almond oil or amla is very less but it is branded as almond oil, Amla oil, Bhringraj oil. With Rumaya, founder’s goal has been to educate people about how powerful our mother nature is, how to benefit from it and not run after the trending products which is not safe and harm the skin, hair and body health in the long run.
Rumaya revitalizing hair oil is hand made, a blend of Cold pressed almond oil, mustard oil, castor oil, coconut oil, and herbs like jatamansi, manjistha, bhringraj, beetroot, amla, shikakai. These ingredients are infused for 2 months in the oils so that heating does not kill goodness of these natural herbs. It works as a gem for hair and our customers really appreciate the product which motivates the brand to make it reach more and more people and benefit them.
It is very fascinating to notice that our mother’s and grandmother’s generation had solid believe in our nature, herbs, kitchen based ingredients. They believed in the fact that we should use only those products on our skin, body and hair which we can eat or that comes from nature.
Founder Manisha ji has an interesting anecdote from her childhood she wants to share, how her mother used to apply masoor dal besan mixed with curd or milk since childhood on face and body, she believed in the goodness and purity of kitchen based ingredients, never trusted any commercial branded products. A small habit built back then still remains with her, this has been her go to face mask forever, masoor dal mixed with tomato juice, curd or potato juice. No other product available in market has given such results, how it exfoliates, cleanses blackheads and pores. Beauty was simpler those days.
This has been inspiration behind Rumaya face mask, which is our best seller till now. Masoor dal grinded, orange peel powder, kaolin clay, rice flour, everything mixed together.
